Welcome to Spectral Valley National Park. I am Larry Cortez, and it is my privilege to help steward this extraordinary landscape. Spectral Valley is a place of wet forests, layered history, changing weather, and the kind of quiet beauty that rewards visitors who slow down enough to notice it.

Our responsibility is to protect the valley's ecosystems while making the park welcoming, understandable, and accessible to the public. That means trail work, interpretive programs, visitor services, research support, restoration planning, and careful seasonal management of sensitive areas.
